I wasn't quite sure how to work part of the pattern and I got pretty frustrated, but I got it in the end. The pattern came from sockpixie.blogspot.com. If you are not an experienced knitter, you may have gotten a bit confused like I did. In case you give it a go, once you make the sole of the slipper and you are ready to add knits, knit them to the sole to the outer edge. (This really confused me) Also, if you decide to use double pointed needles instead of circulars, spread out the stitches as evenly as you can on 4 needles and use a 5th to work with.
