Joe's mom gave us this Oleander tree from Florida. It blooms these really pretty pink flowers in the spring/summer. On a side note, I saw a crime documentary about women who kill and how they usually use non violent methods, like poisoning. One woman featured on the show boiled the roots from an Oleander tree (which are poisonous) to make a base for soup for her husband. Joe teases that he checks the soil and roots of ours:)
